What Can Child & Family Connections do for you and your child?

Early Intervention is a federally mandated program. In Illinois, this birth to three program finds and helps arrange evaluations to determine eligibility for the program. Child and Family Connections (CFC) is the point of entry into the Part C Early Intervention (EI) Service System in Illinois for child less than 36 months of age. Each CFC office is staffed with the following personnel:

  • Program Manager
  • Service Coordinators
  • Parent Liaisons
  • Social Emotional Specialist
  • Local Interagency Council Coordinators
  • Support Staff

Families have the opportunity to meet with a professional to provide education, support and guidance in accessing the next steps in the EI system.
