What is LIC?

Helping Children Development disabilities in Dupage County Illinois serving Naperville Illinois, Bolingbrook IL, Aurora Illinois, Wheaton IL, Downers Grove Illinois

The Illinois EI Service System Act created local interagency councils. These councils were formed to provide a forum to discuss and address specific needs of infants and young children with developmental delays and their families.

The LIC is the local group to address these needs. The LIC is made up of parents, EI service providers, physicians, school district or special education cooperative personnel and other community partners who work with children. This group works collaboratively to improve the local EI system.
